Police officers’ job is to enforce the law. While soldiers have a responsibility to protect their country, police officers have a responsibility to protect and preserve the country’s laws.
Because of the flexibility of Krav Maga, each country can apply it and adjust it based on its laws. In all the democratic countries, law does not allow police officers to attack civilians, unless there is a serious reason to do so. The basic problem for a police officer is to protect the civilian population of a nation and its laws by using appropriate force, that is without abuse of power.
